美国医学物理师学会(AAPM)为亚洲医学物理师提供Partners in Physics Program (PIP)名额300个，现仍有多个空缺。PIP分为EPIP和Full PIP两种形式，EPIP只提供电子版Medical Physics杂志，可通过互联网访问以获得电子资料；Full PIP为满足无法通过互联网访问以获得电子资料的部分地区，在提供电子版Medical Physics杂志基础上还提供印刷版的Medical Physics杂志。

   以下为可申请两种会员类型，Corresponding Membership需要两名AAPM正式会员提供推荐信，International Affiliate不需提供推荐信：

   Corresponding:

   针对居住在北美以外的具有正式会员资格但对正式会员没有兴趣的科学家或工程师，Corresponding会员不能是美国永久居民或超过六个月的临时居民。

   International Affiliate

   针对居住在发展中国家的对AAPM感兴趣但没有达到会员所需的学位或无法获得正式会员的推荐信的医学物理师。

 

   填写“International Affiliate Application Form”表格时，在第一页“Indicate type of affiliation for which you are applying”后选择“with Electronic Journal”为EPIP，选择“with Print/Electronic Journal”为Full PIP。

   填写“Corresponding Membership Application Form”表格时，在第二页“Electronic version of the Medical Physics Journal is included with corresponding membership. Would you like to add a print version for an additional fee of $71?”后选择“No”为PIP，选择“Yes”为Full PIP。

 

   请按您的个人信息改写“Request for Reference Letter”文件中的黄色区域后将文件分别email至您联系的两个AAPM 正式会员或名誉会员推荐者，如推荐者无法将您的推荐信发至AAPM相关单位，请您将推荐信通过邮寄、电子邮件或传真发送，推荐信上务必具有推荐者的签字。

 

   注意在“International Affiliate Application Form”和“Corresponding Membership Application Form”表格第二页“Do you require Financial Assistance?”后面的选项务必选择“Yes”，否则需要申请者承担164美元(EPIP)或235美元(Full PIP)的注册费用。
